FAQ
|
DO YOU SELL PRINTERS?
No, but from time to printers are donated to us and our clients can request to take them.
CAN YOU INSTALL EARLY VERSIONS OF WINDOWS ON MY COMPUTER?
No we cannot install or re-install early versions of Windows on a computer by request. It is not recommended as Microsoft has dropped support for all Windows versions before Windows11. Unsupported Operating Systems will not receive security patches and therefore be more vulnerable to malicious code.

Some things cannot be repaired or are simply too old for us to utilise. These things are taken apart by us and the components are put through a recycle process and are onsold. The proceeds they make goes towards our Student Support Program.
DO YOU HAVE ANY GAMING COMPUTERS?
Typically our computers come from businesses and organisations that have no need for this type of setup.
Therefore; our computers usually do not come with graphic cards and when they do, they are usually are low performance. It is possible to install a graphics card into desktop computers; however we cannot supply decent cards to anyone. Decent graphics cards need an extra 6 or 8 pin power cable that is connected to the power supply unit but a lot of the computers sold here do not have this extra power cable and some of the power supplies are not upgradable because of the motherboard power cable is not standard. Laptops with an i7 processor are also very rare to come in. DO YOU HAVE APPLE COMPUTERS?
It is very rare that Apple computers are donated to us, but it does happen. You would have to ask via email or phone.
